See the country’s iconic sites and experience deep-rooted traditions while exploring Bangkok, Chiang Mai and the lands in-between. Then travel south to Phuket for some seaside sightseeing and time to relax by the beautiful Andaman Coast.

place DAYS 1 - 2 - Bangkok

Upon arrival in Bangkok meet with your guide and transfer to the hotel.

The following day begins with an early visit to Wat Pho in time to experience the monk’s morning chanting ritual, then continue to The Grand Palace, Thailand’s most important landmark. A delicious lunch is served at a Thai rustic restaurant, situated by the Chao Phraya River. After lunch, board a long-tail boat sailing up the majestic Chao Phraya River before entering the Khlong that takes you away from the normal tourist trail.

This full-day trip to Samut Songkhram Province allows guests to experience the traditional charms of the Thai countryside. Visit the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market which remains the best example of an original floating market from decades gone by.

place DAY 4 - Ayutthaya

Drive from Bangkok through verdant countryside and lush paddy fields to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Ayutthaya which dates back to the 14th Century.

The morning is spent exploring the breath-taking temple-studded landscape. Proceed on a trip to the town's Muslim Quarter and take a leisurely long-tail boat ride down the Chao Phraya River. Take the cable car across the river and visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, the majestic mansions of Thailand's Royal family.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to the northern capital of Thailand, Chiang Mai.

Opt to board a long-tail boat and enjoy a cruise along the rural Mae Ping River. Along the riverbanks, you will see traditional wooden houses and modern residences. Visit Waroros fresh food market to experience the Northern Thai way of life.

After breakfast at the hotel, head towards Elephant Discovery Camp, passing through beautiful landscaped and enjoying panoramic views. Upon arrival, meet an elephant mahout, be introduced to the elephants, and learn about their story and daily lifestyle.

Today explore both the old and modern sides of Chiang Mai, discovering it's most sacred Buddhist monuments.

Inside the old city walls, be captivated by the eclectric mix of markets, traditional houses, majestic foreign consulates and modern edifices. See locals on their way to or from the pagodas and take note of the small spirit shrines tucked alongside family homes. Travel uphill to Doi Suthep Mountain and climb the staircase of Wat Phra That Doi Sthep. Explore the 14th-century pagoda where local devotees come to pay homeage and pray. Take a moment to soak up the views of Chiang Mai in the distance.

Next return down the mountain and continue along the spirtual trail to Wat Jed Yod. get up close to the seven spires to admire the incredible carvings of celestial beings and other ornate decorations. The final visit of te day is to Wat Suan Dok, where a 48-metre golden chedi marks this holy site. Learn why Wat Suan dok is popular with local Buddhists and wander around the mausoleum where the ashes of Chiang Mai's royal family are interred.

 

In the afternoon opt to visit the Three Kings Monument, followed by Chiang Mai City Arts and Culture Centre.

Chiang Mai - Mae on District

Depart for Mae Kampong village in the Mae On district and drive through the picturesque countryside of Chiang Mai. On route a stop is made at a local market to select ingredients for your lunch. Continue to Mae Kampong village where you are met upon arrival by villagers before beginning a stroll through the community forest, passing tea and coffee fields. Return to the village in time to watch lunch being prepared by your host family.

Enjoy some free time in Chiang Mai before your flight to Phuket, Thailand’s largest island.

Explore Phuket's Old Town on a tradition Tuk Tuk tour, an authentic and charming way to experience the island's cultural heritage.

The tour includes visits to Saphan Hin Park, a peaceful seaside park built on reclaimed land along the east coast of Phuket Town. Head to Thavorn Museum, offering a glimpse into Phuket's past. Next wander through lively streets of Phuket Old Town filled with local shops, cafes and vibrant Chinese shrines. 

The tour concludes at Khao Rang Hill Viewpoint, one of the best panoramic viewpoints in Phuket. Take in the sweeping views over Phuket Town and surrounding island before heading back to the hotel.

Spend the remainder of your time exploring the beaches of Phuket and enjoying the facilities within your hotel. There are lots of excursions available including diving, snorkelling and visiting local islands.
