One-ninth of Grenada’s landmass is preserved as parks and natural wildlife sanctuaries. Visitors can trek through tropical rainforests filled with a wide variety of flora and fauna and uncover the most magical waterfalls and a dormant volcano.
Tours can be arranged to visit Grand Etang National Park and Mount Qua Qua, as well as the island’s spice plantations, rum producers and artisan chocolate factories.
Throughout the year Grenada plays host to some of the most exciting festivals in the Caribbean. Grenada Sailing Festival, Pure Grenada Music Festival and Grenada Chocolate Festival are some of the highlights.
For a uniquely Grenadian experience visit during Grenada Spicemas Festival held on the second Monday and Tuesday in August, and Carriacou Carnival which is held in February.
