Spain’s beaches are legendary so it’s little surprise that visitors dedicate much of their time to lazing on their silky sands, but beyond the beach there is much more to discover…
Spain has some spectacular scenery and a holiday there is the perfect opportunity to enjoy it! The shimmering Mediterranean Sea is ideal for a range of thrilling watersports, whilst the country’s inland areas are heaven for more active endeavours such as hiking and biking. Golf courses offer challenging courses with stunning surrounds and Spain’s mild climate ensures a pleasant game in any season.
A long and storied past has left its mark on Spain. Nowhere is this more evident than in the nation’s towns and cities, where historical landmarks and elegant architecture are a lovely backdrop to days spent exploring. Andalucia offers the best of Spain’s Moorish remains and is easily explored from the Costa del Sol.
Once the sun sets in Spain the bars and restaurants really come to life. Whether sipping champagne near luxury yachts in Puerto Banús or enjoying tapas and sangria in one of the island’s tavernas, there is no shortage of bustling restaurants, buzzy bars and late night party spots to discover.

Mallorca All Inclusive
Spain’s summer season promises high temperatures and plentiful sun with some days easily exceeding 30 degrees celsius. The shoulder seasons of May, June, September and October still tend to offer warm, sunny days yet without the peak season crowds. Temperatures take a dip from November until April when, although it’s still possible to enjoy the comparatively mild weather compared to the UK, beach days might not on the agenda. Average temperatures in the Balearic islands from November to April range from 19 or 20 degrees celsius as a maximum down to 15 degrees as the daytime minimum. The Costa del Sol maintains slightly higher temperatures but, as with the whole of Spain, the weather is more changeable so warmer, sunny days alternate with periods of worse weather. Overall Spain has a mild, Mediterranean climate without the low temperatures experienced in northern Europe.
