I’ve worked in travel for 20 years, 13 of those specialising in cruise. For me, the appeal of cruise is that you are able to see so many different places, and experience so many cultures on one holiday. The food and service is exceptional on cruises and you always feel spoiled.
My favourite cruise ship:
Having travelled on many a ship, I’d say that Crystal Symphony left the biggest impression on me. Every time we sailed out of port they played Louis Armstrong’s ‘What a Wonderful World’, every little thing on the ship had a sense of occasion, outstanding dining and the service was second to none that I’ve experienced.
My favourite cruise destination:
One place I’d love to experience on a cruise would be the stunning islands of the South Pacific and I’d love to combine it with Australia. We’ve got a fantastic Princess itinerary which takes in lots of the amazing Australian cities and the Ghan, it looks spectacular.
