I’ve always loved to travel, I remember doing my work experience at 15 with a family member who worked in a local travel agency, I went in and never looked back I always knew from that day travel would be my life! I’ve been lucky enough to work in luxury travel for the last 12 years, starting in marketing but quickly realising that working within the Product department was my goal. Being Product Manager for the Indian Ocean & Arabia for the past 7 years has allowed me to travel extensively, I’m totally biased but for me the most beautiful place in the world is the Maldives, that crystal clear turquoise water is something everyone has to experience. I am incredibly lucky to find a job that encourages my passion to travel!
My favourite hotel to stay at:
I have so many to choose from, but one of my favourite hotels is Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman. The location is spectacular – nestled between two craggy mountains, its only accessible by 4x4. My favourite thing about Six Senses Zighy Bay is that you can choose to arrive by paraglide, the view looking down on the resort as I was arriving was something I will never forget! A must-do is Sense of the Edge is their clifftop restaurant, it commands the most jaw dropping views especially at sunset!
My favourite place to travel:
South Africa has to be one of my favourite places to visit, after all these years travelling to beach locations, I was excited to experience my first safari. It was an experience that will stay with me forever, viewing the big 5 up close and personal was breathtaking - being inches away from a lion pride with cubs is something that will be hard to beat! Cape Town is also my favourite city in the world, from sundowners at the top of table mountain, spending time with the penguin colony at Boulders Beach to a birds eye helicopter view over the Waterfront – that holiday was a once in a lifetime experience and I would recommend it to everyone!
