I started my career in travel 22 years ago working for a small coach tour operator specialising in European city breaks. As it was a small company, I spent time working in all the departments, from reservations to marketing, contracting to sales and commercial so got a really good grounding for the rest of my travel career. I then moved on to First Choice and Thomas Cook after that, both in Business Development roles, giving me experience in the mainstream sector before I joined long haul tour operator, Travel 2, who I was with for 10 years before joining If Only last summer.
I feel super lucky to have been able to travel the world through my job, and have been lucky enough to experience most long haul destinations. Australia is one of my favourites and I have been lucky enough to travel there eight times. The last time being on my own honeymoon last year which included Perth, Sydney, Hamilton Island, Cairns, Surfers Paradise and Brisbane.
My favourite hotel to stay at:
As I got married on Playa Mujeres beach in Mexico, so my favourite place to stay would be any of the hotels on that beautiful stretch of sand! I stayed at the brand new TRS Coral Hotel last year in Playa Mujeres and that was amazing!

My absolute favourite place to travel to though is Mexico. I holiday there every year and it really does feel like a home away from home where I can totally relax and recharge my batteries. The standard of accommodation out there is amazing and the service really is fantastic.
