The resort has anticipated almost every need, with essentials like adaptors and hair straighteners tucked in the drawers. For families, the Ambassador Family suites can accommodate up to six, with two separate bedrooms and two Spa-like bathrooms with Jacuzzis. Eat

Five signature restaurants, serving everything from traditional French cuisine to gourmet Mexican dishes are on hand. The poolside ceviche restaurant Cabrilla, and five bars offer additional spots for refreshments and snacks.

An alternative venue for sundowners is the Miramar Bar, perched on rocks at the edge of the sea. As the sun goes down the vibe warms up and bonfires are lit.

The resort offers three tiered infinity pools; one for adults only, closest to the ocean, while the two upper tier pools (with Jacuzzi) are for all ages. There’s also a kids' pool and splash area near the Kids' Club, and the Fitness Centre provides options for the more energetic.

Beyond the resort there are opportunities for hang gliding adventures, diving, off-road treks and whale watching. Or for more leisurely pursuits, there are golf courses to challenge even the most experienced golfers.

Unwind

As well as a range of varied options on the spa menu, from blue agave massages to after-sun treatments, there’s also a Water Ceremony, where guests are guided through the spa’s sauna, steam room, ice-cold pool and more, all the while being served tasty treats.

Family

There are both Kids’ and Teens’ Clubs, catering for children aged four to 12 and teenagers aged 13 to 17. There’s even a Baby Concierge, which provides everything from mobiles to bottles for new parents.

Two pools are dedicate to younger guests, one being a splash pool near the Kids’ Club.
