Directed by the talented Mauritian chef Sanjeev Purahoo, The Kitchen serves fresh fish caught off the shores of the Mascarene Islands, tasty South African meat and a delicious, six-course lobster or sushi menu based on the catch-of-the-day. The hotel's other restaurant, just 10 metres from the sea, offers guests the choice to sit by the swimming pool, on the seashore or in the restaurant.
Dine aboard the island's oldest motor boat: the M/S Lady Lisbeth. This 17m 'vintage' boat, built in 1929, has been painstakingly and completely restored to its former glory. Every evening she sets sail on a gastronomic cruise around the bay, with welcome drinks served before anchoring in the calm waters of the Grand Baie for dinner.
