Climate

This vast state has weather as varied as its landscapes. Perth has hot Australian summers and mild winters and there’s a slightly more temperate climate in the south, though still relatively mild throughout the winter months. Reaching well into the tropics, the northern half of the state is hotter in the dry season and not as rainy in the wet season as its neighbour the Northern Territory, so September and October are a good time to visit.
