Highlights

Wyoming offers an invigorating view into authentic Western life.

Geothermal Yellowstone National Park

Discover the beauty of the USA’s first national park - Yellowstone National Park. Dynamic geothermal forces lurking just below the surface gave rise to its dramatic collection of mountains, rivers, canyons, springs and geysers, all surrounded by a tapestry of wildlife. Head off the park’s networks of paved roads into the hiking trails that meander through the sprawling Lamar Valley and along the ledge of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to avoid the crowds and soak in the best scenery.

Winter wonderland

Winter wonderland

With so many mountain ranges within a stone’s throw, Jackson Hole is a hub of outdoor recreation. Wildlife watching is easy here, with elk, deer and many other small mammals calling the valley home. In the winter, skiing is the major pastime, although snowmobile safaris, snowshoeing tours and winter biking are also on offer. From mid-December until spring, visitors can even take sleigh rides among the elk.

Ranch life

Wyoming’s vast landscapes mean that ranching is a big part of local culture and no visit to the state is complete without experiencing a dude ranch. In addition to horseback riding, many offer campfires under the stars, fly fishing, river tubing, canoeing, hiking and more for a truly authentic experience.
