Day 1 - 2
Arrive in Japan’s capital city and transfer to the stylish Gate Hotel Tokyo in upmarket Ginza for a two-night stay. Explore the city's bustling streets and soak up the culture during your time here.
Day 3
Make your way to the port for the beginning of your 10-day Princess cruise showcasing Japan and South Korea’s Asian wonders.
Day 4
A fusion of traditional charm and modern conveniences, Shimizu is best known for its spectacular views of Mount Fuji. Gaze in wonder at its iconic silhouette towering high above the city.
Day 5
Today you’ll be treated to a front-row view of the Kumano Fireworks Festival, a 300-year-old festival that lights up the night sky over Kumano City. Watch the dazzling spectacle in wonder from the comfort of your cruise ship during the two-hour pyrotechnic display.
Day 6
The bustling port of Shimotsu is the gateway to Wakayama and its nearby attractions. White sand beaches stretch along the coast and geothermal bathing experiences are ideal for soothing weary limbs. Wakayama Castle, perched on a nearby hilltop, reveals sweeping views of the city and bay from its tower.
Day 7
Visitors to Kochi can look forward to an authentic experience on Japan’s southern coast. Choose to explore the historic castle the city takes its name from or venture into the Iya Valley for breathtaking views. Other options include a subterranean adventure at Ryugadi Cave and a tour of Kochi’s peaceful botanical gardens.
Day 8
Enjoy a day at sea as you cruise across the waters to South Korea. Perhaps browse the onboard boutiques before taking a dip in the pool, unwinding in one of the bubbling hot tubs or pampering yourself in the spa.
Day 9
Jeju Island, also known as the ‘Island of the Gods’, is a popular holiday spot for Koreans and the Japanese. A warm and wet climate creates a lush landscape on the island’s volcanic rock, bordered by beautiful golden beaches. A paradise for nature lovers, this is the place to spend time in the great outdoors.
Day 10
Take a moment to reflect at Nagasaki’s Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum, both of which serve as a sobering reminder of the devastating nuclear attack the city endured in 1945. Beyond its historical legacy, there’s a hopeful present in this beautiful city.
Day 11
With the active Sakura Jima volcano as the city’s backdrop, there’s time to enjoy Kagoshima’s scenic wonders during your time at this port. History enthusiasts will be happy as well, with a chance to learn about the city’s role in Japan’s Meiji Restoration and to visit the striking Kagoshima Castle.
Day 12
There’s plenty to keep you busy on board as you travel back towards Japan’s capital city with a comprehensive entertainment programme on offer for all ages both day and night.
Day 13
Your journey comes to an end as you return to Tokyo, arriving in the early hours. There’s still time to see a few more temples and pick up souvenirs before you depart on your international flight from Narita Airport.
