Day 1 – 3
This incredible journey will begin in Miami with a two night pre cruise stay at a centrally located luxury hotel. Miami is well known for its stunning beaches and vibrant art deco but the city has many other charms too including a lively nightlife, lush gardens, a bustling arts scene and delectable cuisine. Spend your days exploring all this vibrant city has to offer. Discover the range of stylish bars and restaurants on Ocean Drive, bask in the sun on the famous Miami Beach and enjoy the melting pot of cultures throughout the city. Alternatively, visit one of the world-class museums and spend a day shopping at Brickell City Centre. On day three transfer to the port to begin your 12 night luxury cruise with Oceania Cruises onboard Allura.
Day 4 – 5
The next two days will be days at sea onboard Oceania’s Allura. While at sea, take some time to recharge before your next port of call. Lounge by the pool, visit the spa, treat your tastebuds at one of the many onboard restaurants or enjoy some entertainment.
Day 6
The first stop on your cruising journey is Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba. This city was first settled in 1796 and features a colourful Dutch colonial architecture. Vibrant coloured houses, colourful streets and a distinct buzz in the air are all part of this charming city which features a unique blend of the old and the new. Learn about the main events in Aruban history at the Historical Museum which also hosts changing themed exhibitions. Golfing enthusiasts should not miss the chance to tee off at the inimitable Tierra del Sol.
Day 7
Today your cruise will dock at Willemstad, the capital city of Curaçao. This enchanting city is a melting pot of history, cultures and art with influences from Europe, Africa and South America. The historic district of Willemstad has also been listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the charming Dutch colonial architecture along the harbour, explore the aquamarine waters of Curacao’s many beaches. Alternatively, enjoy a safari through Christoffel National Park to see the rare flora and fauna.
Day 8
The next stop is Kralendijk, the capital city of Bonaire. Spend your day discovering all this unique, charming city has to offer. Explore Washington-Slagbaai National Park, keeping your eyes peeled for the range of birds, lizards and iguanas. Go sea kayaking through mangroves, visit a butterfly garden, see the famous saltwater lake Gotomeer, or simply enjoy a relaxing day on stunning Pink Beach.
Day 9
Next your cruise will dock at St. George’s, the capital of Grenada. St. George’s is a lively seaside town which is surrounded by flourishing nature and is located just below an old volcano. Grenada is famous for its spices, namely cinnamon and nutmeg, making a tour of the spice estates a must visit. Also be sure to visit Fort Frederick which is regarded as Grenada’s best preserved fort. This fort is perched on top of Richmond Hill and offers magnificent panoramic views of the city. Another must visit is the Westerhall Estate which is a rum distillery located just a 10 minute drive from the city and is home to the oldest working waterway in the western hemisphere. Marvel at the old artefacts and equipment which makes up the rum making process in addition to sampling a wide range of rums such as the “Spicy Rum Punch”.
Day 10
The next stop is Castries, a small tropical island in Saint Lucia which is still relatively unknown. Visit the historic La Toc Battery, see the banana plantations or watch silk screening at Bagshaws. Be sure to check out Pointe Seraphine, located near the port, where you will find duty-free goods as well as Castries Central Market which is stocked with native spices and hand-made crafts. Why not venture south to Soufriere at the base of the Piton peaks and see the unique gingerbread architecture of the marketplace.
Day 11
Today your cruise will dock at Gustavia, the capital city of the island of St. Barts. This beautiful island boasts a beautiful rugged coastline and a pristine unspoiled landscape as well as a unique Swedish and French heritage. Spend your day relaxing at the beautiful beaches and resorts, snorkelling in the gorgeous blue waters, or discovering the underwater wonders from a semi-submersible marine vessel.
Day 12
The next stop is Tortola, the largest and most populated island of the British Virgin Islands. Spend the day swimming at the famous Cane Garden Bay Beach, hiking through the lush green Mount Sage National Park or enjoying a scenic drive around this beautiful island.
Day 13 – 14
The next two days will be days at sea onboard Oceania’s Allura. While at sea, take some time to recharge before your next port of call. Lounge by the pool, visit the spa, treat your tastebuds at one of the many onboard restaurants or enjoy some entertainment.
Day 15
Your cruise will end back in Miami where you will then transfer to the airport for your flight home.
