Day 1 - 2
Arrive in Cape Town and meet your transfer to The Silo Hotel, where you’ll stay for two nights. A luxurious boutique hotel in the city’s reimagined historic grain silo in the V&A Waterfront, this hotel will dazzle you with its incredible design and iconic views.
Day 3
After some time exploring one of South Africa’s most beautiful cities, perhaps taking in the view from the top of the famous Table Mountain or visiting historical Robben Island, it’s time to make your way to the port to embark on your 15-night cruise around Southern Africa.
Day 4
A day at sea allows you to make yourself at home and explore the ship. Browse the onboard boutiques, indulge yourself in the spa, or relax by the pool – the choice is yours.
Day 5 - 6
A stop in Namibia’s only deep-sea harbour, Walvis Bay, promises amazing scenery and spectacular birdwatching, as thousands of migrating species arrive to join the native flamingos and pelicans. Scale ‘Dune 7’ to enjoy far-reaching views over the bay or choose from some of the exciting excursions on offer, unveiling the best of the area’s landscape, wildlife and local culture to you.
Day 7 - 8
Enjoy a Christmas Day with a difference and a relaxed Boxing Day, celebrating as you cruise through shimmering waters on your way south and around the Cape of Good Hope. Treat yourself to some of the delicious food and drink on offer at any one of the eight on-board eateries.
Day 9
Arriving at the endpoint of South Africa’s picturesque Garden Route, you have the chance to explore Port Elizabeth, otherwise known as ‘The Friendly City’, with its beautiful beaches and interesting history. Safari enthusiasts might prefer to venture to Addo Elephant Park, one of the many private game reserves nearby, or cruise to St. Croix Island, home to the world’s largest colony of African penguins.
Day 10 - 11
Known for its golden beaches and rich cultural mix, with a blend of Zulu, Indian and colonial influences, take your pick from a variety of memorable excursions designed to showcase Durban’s many wonders. There’s also a chance to travel out of the city for a selection of immersive experiences in the local area.
Day 12
Take it easy today as you cruise through the Indian Ocean. After a day of relaxing on board, the ship’s lounges, theatre and Casino provide plenty of entertainment once the sun has gone down.
Day 13
Discover Mozambique’s charming capital city, Maputo, with its European-influenced architecture and lively ambience. A visit to the historic Central Market is a must, offering a fascinating glimpse into local life, as well as being a great place to pick up some souvenirs!
Day 14 - 15
Docking in Richards Bay, the gateway to Zululand in the KwaZulu-Natel province, you have two days to discover the area’s captivating heritage and impressive wildlife. A visit to a traditional village offers you a fascinating insight into Zulu culture, whilst enthralling wildlife encounters are on the agenda at thriving wetlands and pristine game reserves.
Day 16
Having welcomed the New Year on board, the ship’s leisure facilities are available for any fitness-related resolutions! A well-equipped gym, exercise classes and a jogging track with panoramic sea views ensure it’s easy to get active. Alternatively, simply relax in your elegant suite and watch the world go by.
Day 17
Combining a maritime history with scenic beauty and exciting outdoor attractions, a choice of onshore excursions introduces Mossel Bay and the Garden Route’s delights to you.
Day 18 - 20
It’s time to say a sad goodbye to your ship as you arrive in Cape Town in the early hours of day 18. Fortunately, your adventure doesn’t end there, as you travel onward to Sabi Sands Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger National Park for a memorable safari experience in a spectacular private lodge. Your remarkable journey through Southern Africa comes to an end today with a flight to Johannesburg to connect with your international flight home.
