Overview

Perched on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Vila Vita Parc’s sea views are truly mesmerising. The hotel’s Moorish style design blends in effortlessly with the nearby traditional village of Porches and the rest of the Algarve coastline, and acres of sub-tropical landscaped gardens perfectly complement the authentic architecture. Rooms and suites are housed in different buildings throughout the resort, linked by cobbled paths that wind delightfully through the flower-filled gardens. Along with the main building, Residence, Oasis Parc and the Spa Suites, Vila Vita Parc also offers guests the option of five luxury villas, ideal for families or groups of friends.

Climate

Portugal’s Mediterranean climate results in hot, dry summers and mild winters. June to August is the time to visit for sun-soaked days accompanied by pleasant sea breezes. Spring and Autumn are good times for a quieter visit without the summer season crowds, with March to May seeing the country’s flowers come into bloom and many festivals take place, whilst September to October offer an extension to northern Europe’s summer, as the sun continues to shine, and temperatures remain in the 20s until the end of the main tourist season in late October. Winters are mild with more rain than at other times of the year, but a generally pleasant climate in which to explore.
