The lodge is accessible by well-maintained gravel roads for anyone travelling on self-drive itineraries. Alternatively, the closest domestic airport is Keetsmanhoop, from where it is approximately four hours drive. Karios Airstrip is also nearby.

Climate

December to February is Namibia's wet season with most of the rain falling at this time. March to May is moving towards winter and the drier season. June to August is the driest time to visit and when daytime temperatures are cool and nights can drop down to freezing. Come September temperatures begin to warm up again, with occasional showers building again in late October and early November.
